Easy Cannabutter (makes 4 sticks)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (4 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 7-10 g decarboxylated cannabis flower (ground)

Steps:

  1. 1. Decarb cannabis at 240°F (115°C) for 40 minutes on a baking sheet.
  2. 2. Simmer butter and water in a saucepan over very low heat. Add ground cannabis.
  3. 3. Hold at a gentle simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
  4. 4. Strain through cheesecloth into a measuring cup. Refrigerate until butter solidifies on top.
