📖 Chewy Rope Gummies (yields 34 ropes at 7.5 mL)
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups fruit juice (watermelon, cherry, or strawberry work great)
- 1/2 cup unflavored gelatin
- 2 tbsp honey or corn syrup (corn syrup gives a chewier texture)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp citric acid (optional, for a sour kick)
- Optional: cannabis tincture per dose target
Steps:
- Warm juice and honey or corn syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- Do not boil.
- Whisk in gelatin one tablespoon at a time until fully dissolved.
- Stir in lemon juice and citric acid if using.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in tincture if using.
- Let sit 30 seconds to reduce bubbles.
- Use a squeeze bottle to carefully fill each of the 34 rope channels from one end to the other.
- Go slowly to avoid air gaps.
- Refrigerate 30 to 35 minutes until fully firm.
- Peel back the mold from one end to release each rope.
