Homemade Chocolate Recipe (Step-By-Step Guide)
Mushroom Chocolate Bars (makes ~8 bars at 38 mL each)
A homemade chocolate bar recipe from the PJBold guide, sized for the 8-cavity mushroom polycarbonate mold.
Ingredients:
- 400g dark or milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cocoa butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: dried mushroom powder, chopped nuts, dried fruit, or sea salt
Steps:
- Chop chocolate into small pieces for even melting.
- Melt chocolate and cocoa butter in a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add any fillings or mushroom powder and mix well.
- Pour into all 8 mushroom bar cavities. Tap the mold to release air bubbles.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes until fully set. Tap the mold to release each bar. Store airtight.
