Mushroom Chocolate Bars (makes ~8 bars at 38 mL each)

A homemade chocolate bar recipe from the PJBold guide, sized for the 8-cavity mushroom polycarbonate mold.

Ingredients:

  • 400g dark or milk chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cocoa butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: dried mushroom powder, chopped nuts, dried fruit, or sea salt

Steps:

  1. Chop chocolate into small pieces for even melting.
  2. Melt chocolate and cocoa butter in a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Add any fillings or mushroom powder and mix well.
  5. Pour into all 8 mushroom bar cavities. Tap the mold to release air bubbles.
  6. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes until fully set. Tap the mold to release each bar. Store airtight.
