    Pour in One Steady Stream

    Thick cavities are easier to fill than thin ones, but a rushed pour still creates surface bubbles. Pour in a steady stream from a pitcher with a pouring spout. Fill each cavity to the rim, no higher.

    Tap Out Deep Cavity Bubbles

    Deeper cavities trap more air at the bottom. Give the full tray three firm taps on the counter right after pouring. The air rises through the mix and breaks at the surface before setting.

    Build Layers in Stages

    If you're making layered gummies or filled chocolates, pour the first layer and let it partially set (5 to 10 minutes) before pouring the next. Fully setting between layers takes longer but gives cleaner color lines. Partial setting lets layers bond without blurring completely.

  • Wash with mild dish soap by hand, or put on the top rack of the dishwasher
  • For stuck residue in deep cavities, soak in warm soapy water for 10 minutes before scrubbing gently
  • Don't use metal tools or wire scrubbers that cut the silicone and dull the cavity detail
  • Air-dry fully before stacking or storing to prevent moisture buildup
  • Store flat so the mold holds its half-sheet shape across the full width, and never fold since creasing weakens silicone permanently
