    Set every stick into its slot before the candy syrup is ready. Trying to insert sticks into hot syrup mid-pour causes uneven placement and melted tips. Load sticks first, then pour. The candy sets around each stick cleanly.

    Hard candy needs 300°F to 310°F (hard-crack stage). Lower and the candy stays sticky. Higher and the sugar burns. Use a candy thermometer, guessing by color alone leads to inconsistent batches. Once the syrup hits the target, pull it off heat and pour fast before it cools.

  • Air-dry fully before storing so moisture doesn't collect in the slots or design grooves
  • Store flat in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, and never fold the silicone since creasing weakens it permanently
