Sour Round Puck Gummies (makes ~165 pieces at 3.5 mL each)

A sour gummy recipe from the PJBold guide, sized for the 165-cavity round puck mold.

Ingredients:

• 3/4 oz unflavored gelatin
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 6 oz flavored Jello powder
• 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
• 1/4 cup citric acid
• 1/2 cup sugar (for sour coating)

Steps:

1. Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
2. Add Jello powder and stir on low heat until fully melted. No grains should remain.
3. Stir in melted coconut oil. Keep on very low heat.
4. Pour quickly into all 165 round puck cavities using a dropper.
5. Refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes until firm. Pop each piece out.
6. Mix citric acid and sugar. Toss gummies in the sour coating just before serving. Store airtight.
